Derick Reinhardt started Reinhardt Transport in 1982 and later acquired the operations of Chrome Carriers and Amalgamated Bulk, forming the Reinhardt Transport Group (Pty) Ltd. Today, the company is regarded as one of the leading transporters in the tipper business. With an infrastructure that boasts a total of 480 immaculate tipper-trucks, the company is generally acknowledged as an innovator and leader in the South African transport industry.
